Privacy notice
Effective November 5, 2026
This notice explains what the Bamba Law, LLC website at https://www.bambalaw.com/ collects, how the firm uses it, and the choices you have. It covers the website only. Information you share with the firm as a client is protected by the attorney's duty of confidentiality under Maryland's rules of professional conduct, which is stricter than any privacy law.
In short. This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking tools, and it loads nothing from other companies' servers. The only information the firm receives from you is what you choose to type into the contact form.
What this site collects
- Nothing automatically beyond ordinary server logs. The fonts, images, and code on this site are served from the site itself, so loading a page sends no request to any other company.
- Server logs. The hosting provider, Netlify, Inc., records the standard technical details of each request to run and secure the service: the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser type. The firm does not use these logs to identify visitors. Netlify's own practices are described in its privacy policy.
- The contact form. If you use the form, the firm receives what you type: your name, email address, phone number, the kind of matter, whether you prefer a call or a meeting, and your short description. The form also records that the message came from this website. Submissions are stored by Netlify as the form processor and emailed to the firm.
How the firm uses it
- To answer your inquiry and, if you ask, to schedule a consultation.
- To check for conflicts of interest before the firm agrees to represent anyone.
- The firm does not sell personal information, does not use it for advertising, and does not add you to a mailing list.
Who sees it
The attorney and firm staff. Netlify, as the hosting and form-processing provider, and the email services that carry the notification to the firm. No one else, unless the law requires disclosure or you ask the firm to share it.
How long the firm keeps it
Inquiry records are kept for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain the firm's conflict-check records, and for any period Maryland's rules for attorneys require.
Links to other services
The site links to Calendly for booking a call and to Google Maps and Apple Maps for directions. Those links open other companies' sites, which follow their own privacy practices. Nothing from them loads on this site until you click.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of sending information over the internet is perfectly secure, so please leave confidential details out of the form until the firm confirms it will represent you. Contacting the firm through this site does not create an attorney–client relationship.
Children
The site is not directed to children under 13, and the firm does not knowingly collect their information through it.
Your choices
You may ask what information the firm holds from your website inquiry, ask the firm to correct it, or ask the firm to delete it. Email admin@bambalaw.com or call 443-656-8310 during office hours, Monday to Thursday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The firm will honor the request unless it must keep the record for conflict checks or as the law requires.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
